Coaching to improve ‘beauty parade’ effectiveness
We helped a practice team seeking to win more work by increasing the effectiveness of their oral presentations. The team had a strong lead partner who was comfortable presenting to clients but his more junior colleagues were much less confident and unclear as to how they could become more effective.
We led a series of training interventions that helped them understand the importance of developing a clear proposition, how to articulate that in a persuasive and compelling way and also taught them tips and tricks to engage with their audience and become more impactful.
As a result, confidence grew and shortly after the training the partner was able to involve a number of junior colleagues who had a clear role in an oral presentation and they were instrumental in winning new work.

We have experience of implementing bid support systems and the organisational change that is needed to make that investment a success. This includes how best to harness bid content, create libraries and implement experience gathering. We also have experience of defining and developing a cutting-edge document creation application that created InDesign-quality documents in Word for a global firm.

We have experience of building bid teams by understanding the firm’s needs, helping frame a strategy based on volume, type and nature of the firm’ bids and the subsequent recruitment and development of bid people.
